Bobbie Pyron is the author of seven childrenâs and middle grade books! Her love of reading and animals has shaped her workâtelling stories that help us make sense of the world, open our hearts, and make us feel less alone!
Her most recent book âOctopus Moonâ is a deeply moving and important middle grade novel. Telling the story of Pearl who is struggling with depression and anxiety when she starts fifth grade. The story is tender and kind, showing a young girl learning to take care of herself!

Come join us for a special Halloween event! On Saturday, October 25th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM we will have two childrenâs authors hosting a story time!
First up is Constance Lombardo with âItty Bitty Betty Blob,â a story about an adorable monster and the message that you donât have to be like everyone elseâbeing you is pretty awesome!
Then at 12:00 author Christine Page and Illustrator Dana Irwin with âAll Hallowsâ Eve!â A story about Asheville kids who venture into Riverside Cemetery on Halloween Night and meet some well-known Ashevillians! Have fun and learn some history on the way!
